Alan Yates has lived on the Northern Rivers all of his life and spends his time between Casino and Evans Head.
Over the years, Alan has been an active member of the town’s sporting community, being involved as both a player and committee member with many local clubs including cricket, squash and baseball.
Before he was a massage therapist, Alan worked for 21 years at the Casino abattoir where he witnessed firsthand the impact that repetition related injuries had on people’s daily lives.
In 2001 Alan decided to change his career direction by pursuing massage therapy with the aim of helping people in their everyday lives to live and work without pain.
Today Alan holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage from the Australia College of Massage & Natural Therapies. He is also certified in Lymphatic Drainage Massage as well as Orthotic Therapy. He specialises in a range of areas including muscle pain relief, stress and tension relief, sports massage and injury management, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage.
Alan has been a massage therapist for the past 16 years and it is this experience combined with his focus on individualised treatment and getting excellent results that has seen him form a loyal base of clients across the Northern Rivers.
